Job Type Full-time Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $82,000 - $110,000 depending on experience Therapist-friendly quarterly bonuses up to $11,500 annually Sign-on bonus Profit sharing $2,000 per year towards continuing education ABPTRFE Orthopedic Residency Program (full salary while working a reduced schedule) Two to three month mentoring period to ramp up to full caseload Critical reasoning development seminar for new grads Leadership development series Collaborative opportunities with physicians Surgical observations at IBJI ASCs Monthly grand rounds Shared EMR access to operative notes, imaging reports, and communication Health, life, dental, and vision insurance; generous PTO accrual; 401(k) with company match; disability coverage; employee assistance program Job Summary The Physical Therapist positions under general direction of the Facility Manager focus on providing superior outpatient rehabilitation services through a collaborative care model with physicians to optimize performance and enhance quality of function for patients. Responsibilities Exceptional patient care Interpret physician orders, perform initial evaluations, establish treatment plans and functional goals Upgrade and amend treatment goals as necessary during episode of care Write documentation on patient status to physicians per compliance guidelines Determine appropriate discharge timeline and follow-up Supervise rehabilitation technicians, patient care and administrative staff as needed Complete daily paperwork (initial evaluations, daily notes, progress notes, discharges, HEP) Stay current with billing policies and demonstrate ethical billing practices Maintain active state license by earning CEUs through outside courses and IBJI educational opportunities Develop positive relationships with physician teams Participate in programs sponsored by IBJI: mentoring, clinical education, special interest groups, community outreach Requirements Graduate from accredited physical therapy program Licensed or eligible to sit for boards in the state of Illinois Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds Good understanding of proper body mechanics for lifting, pulling, pushing Ability to stand and sit for sequences of time greater than 30 minutes Ability to work on a computer for lengthy periods during the day Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance; long and short term disability; 401(k) program with company match; profit sharing; wellness program; health savings account; flexible savings account; identity protection plan; accident, critical illness and hospital benefits; paid holidays; paid time off.
