You'll be fielding incoming calls, scheduling appointments, handling customer service requests, conducting patient intake procedures and interviews, talking with people about their health and health goals, and helping them enroll in care plans that will assist them in healing and creating the lives they really want. You'll also be communicating and interacting with the doctors and the other members of the team. So, of course, you are energetic, friendly, fun, purpose-driven, motivated, and a team player. If you are able to interact comfortably with people, you can receive training that will make you extremely proficient in your communication. Because everything in the office moves quickly and there are multiple tasks to be completed, your strong phone, computer, and people skills are all vital. Your Primary Responsibilities Your primary focus will be leading the financial systems of the practice, including: Guiding patients through financial plans with confidence and compassion Explaining payment options and answering financial questions Managing patient accounts and collections Monitoring financial agreements and payment plans Payroll support Inventory management and ordering Financial reporting and administrative systems Helping maintain efficient office operations As you become comfortable in your role, you'll also receive cross-training in front desk and clinical operations so you understand how every department works together.
