Occupational Therapist

Call for Salary Rate - TactStaff Education is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a therapeutic day school in Northern Illinois beginning in October 2026. This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working closely with students who benefit from a structured, supportive, and individualized educational environment. Position Highlights School-based Occupational Therapist position Therapeutic day school setting Start in October 2026 4 days per week On-site position Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families Provide direct and consultative OT services based on student needs and IEP goals Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, functional, and participation-related needs Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, documentation, and IEP-related responsibilities as needed Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy Current Illinois OT license School-based or pediatric experience preferred Experience working with students with disabilities or in therapeutic settings is a plus Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team Why TactStaff Education?
