Serving as a critical liaison between Marketing and IT, the Technical Product Manager translates business and marketing objectives into clear, actionable technical requirements that can be understood and implemented across IT systems and applications. This individual will work at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, helping determine how products, promotions, offers, and rate changes are configured within backend systems and ultimately represented across customer and agent-facing experiences. Job Responsibilities Essential Functions: Serve as a primary liaison between Marketing/business stakeholders and IT, translating business objectives into clear, actionable technical requirements and system components. Partners with internal clients across Product Management, Marketing, Strategy, Sales Operations, Customer Care, IT, Engineering, Architecture, Legal, and other business functions to understand objectives and develop appropriate technical solutions. Work with technical and non-technical partners to bring consumer and agent marketing strategies, products, offers, promotions, and campaigns to life. Manage areas of responsibility within enterprise-wide IT enhancement initiatives supporting marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, offers, and lifecycle changes. Lead the implementation and ongoing lifecycle management of products, promotions, offers, rate changes, and associated system capabilities across the streaming client’s portfolio of services. Manage approximately 2–4 projects quarterly while balancing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines. Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements through the creation and refinement of features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and other requirements artifacts. Define and refine complex offer attributes, variables, business rules, and technical requirements associated with marketing requests. Lead requirements-gathering sessions and stakeholder discussions to understand business objectives, identify dependencies, resolve questions, and obtain necessary approvals. Facilitate the development and submission of technical requirements to downstream IT and catalog/configuration teams responsible for implementation. Participate as a subject matter expert in solutioning discussions, helping business partners and technical teams determine appropriate approaches for achieving business objectives. Partner with Architecture, Engineering, application teams, and other IT subject matter experts to evaluate technical solutions, system impacts, dependencies, and implementation requirements. Support backend IT configuration and development activities that ultimately drive functionality presented through customer, agent, ordering, and other front-end experiences. Partner with testing and validation teams to ensure implemented solutions perform as intended across applicable front-end experiences and business processes. Gain alignment and communicate product, promotion, offer, and technical requirements across Strategy, Marketing, IT, Engineering, Customer Care/Sales Operations, Legal, and other stakeholder organizations. Manage cross-functional teams through requirements gathering, solution development, implementation, validation, launch, and ongoing lifecycle management. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and quarterly PI Planning activities. Utilize Agile methodologies and tools, including JIRA and/or JIRA Align, to manage requirements, dependencies, priorities, and delivery activities. Conduct ongoing risk analysis, identify roadblocks and dependencies, recommend alternative solutions, and influence decisions necessary to maintain project momentum. Provide continuing product surveillance and lifecycle management of established products, offers, and promotions to support organizational and financial objectives. Act as a liaison and subject matter expert to internal clients and business units regarding products, services, promotions, offers, and associated technical capabilities. Provide regular leadership readouts and presentations regarding assigned products, promotions, project status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, IT partners, and cross-functional business teams while maintaining frequent communication in a highly collaborative remote environment. Position type Full time Expected Hours of Work: Monday through Friday, averaging 40 hours per week.
