Join Our Team as a Line Cook at Centro On The Square! Are you passionate about creating delicious dishes and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Centro On The Square is seeking a talented Line Cook to join our team in Historic Downtown McKinney, Texas. As a Line Cook, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to our menu of American and Italian classics. Join us in creating a welcoming atmosphere for both casual dining and special occasions. Daily Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Ensure proper plate presentation and food preparation Work with fresh pasta and locally sourced meats Utilize scratch cooking techniques Demonstrate excellent knife skills and proficiency in line cooking Required Skills: Menu Planning: Ability to assist in creating and updating menu items Plate Presentation: Skill in presenting dishes in an appealing manner Pasta: Experience working with fresh pasta Scratch Cooking: Proficiency in preparing dishes from scratch Knife Skills: Strong knife handling skills for food preparation Nice to Have Skills: Grilling, Batch Cooking, Sauce Making, Fryer Experience, a la carte Experience Company Information: Centro on the Square is an American bistro in Historic Downtown McKinney, Texas, offering a menu of culinary classics, fresh in house made pasta, and locally sourced meats in a welcoming atmosphere for both casual and special occasions. Pay is based on Experience: Hourly rate starts at $18 per hour but adjusted based on your experience. The more experience you have the more you will be paid.
