Patent Prosecution and Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Patent Prosecution and Litigation Associate to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and software, with experience in patent prosecution and litigation. Duties Draft and prosecute patent applications. Engage in litigation related to patent disputes. Collaborate with a team on complex legal matters. Conduct legal research and analysis. Requirements 2-6 years of legal experience in patent law. Admitted to the USPTO. Licensed to practice law or the ability to become licensed in the state of employment. Experience with 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Strong organizational and analytical abilities. Education Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar field. Certifications USPTO admission. Skills Proficiency in patent drafting and prosecution.
