About the Role
Schoen's Roofing & Exteriors is a growing company serving homeowners across Nebraska, Iowa, Kansa and Missouri — and we're building the brand to match. We're looking for an organized, personable, and creative coordinator to be the first face and voice of our Beatrice office while owning the day-to-day execution of our marketing efforts. This role is split between customer-facing office operations and hands-on marketing support — ideal for someone who's equally comfortable on the phone with a customer and behind the camera creating content.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Office Operations

• Serve as the first point of contact for all customers — answering phones, greeting walk-ins, and ensuring every interaction reflects the Schoen's standard
• Process customer payments and apply them accurately to accounts
• Pull city and municipal building permits online or by phone as required for jobs
• Assist with customer invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments
• Support filing, job costing updates, and general administrative tasks as assigned
• Handle inbound customer inquiries and route or escalate as needed

Marketing & Social Media

• Own and manage Schoen's presence on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Create and post engaging content (job transformations, team culture, community moments, promotions, and storm season awareness)
  
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews
• Order business cards and marketing materials through online vendors
• Help coordinate community events, home shows, golf sponsorships, and other outreach opportunities 
• Learn and operate our 3D printer and laser engraver to produce branded merch for events and giveaways
• Assist with other marketing projects and campaigns as assigned

What We're Looking For

Required

• Active and engaged on Facebook, Instagram, Linked In and TikTok (as a creator)
• Basic photo and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or similar)
• Prior social media content creation experience
• Strong communicator. Professional, warm, and reliable on the phone and in person
• Organized and detail-oriented, especially when handling payments, permits, and customer records
• Comfortable representing a brand in person at community events
• Self-starter who owns their work without needing constant direction
  

Bonus

• Experience in an office, customer service, or administrative role
• Familiarity with construction, roofing, or home services industry
• Event planning or community outreach experience
• Hands-on or crafty mindset for the merch production work
• Familiarity with CRM or business software
