Come join Mystic Lake Casino as a retail associate! The Retail Associate is responsible for providing outstanding guest service while promoting products, processing sales transactions, maintaining merchandise displays, and creating a welcoming shopping experience. This role serves as the face of the Enterprise by building positive guest relationships, achieving sales goals, and ensuring the retail area remains organized, clean and fully stocked. Starting pay up to $17.00 an hour* Based on shift, plus tips

Job Overview: Provide guest service in line with SMSC GE's culture of Purpose, Vision, and Values. Applies high guest service standards. Processes transactions pertaining to retail charges. Reconciles cash-drawer. Processes retail sales transactions.

Illuminate Your Future: What You'll Do:

• Perform open and close gift shop procedures, operate POS system, and process merchandise sales, ticketing, credit, debit, and cash transactions. Ensure daily cash reports are accurate and complete.
• Provide visitor reception, including information in the form of SMSC outreach brochures, and/or other media.
• Assist with creating visual merchandising displays incorporating seasonal themes.
• Monitor the retail area's physical condition and appearance and ensure security of inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Six months' sales and guest service experience.
• Ability to pass basic math test.
• Must have working knowledge of cash register and computer operations.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
