• Experience: At least 1 year of OB/GYN hospitalist experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide inpatient OB/GYN care covering labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Manage high and low-risk pregnancies
• Perform surgical procedures such as cesarean sections and surgical gynecologic interventions
• Assist with emergency gynecological and obstetric cases
• Collaborate with hospital staff and private physicians
• Oversee labor of obstetric patients in a unit with multiple labor and delivery rooms
• Participate in hospital protocols and quality improvement initiatives

What You Need:

• Active California medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Certification in ACLS & BLS
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN within 6 years of residency
• Minimum 1-year experience in inpatient OB/GYN care preferred

About the Assignment:
This inpatient OB/GYN hospitalist role is based at a renowned facility in Los Angeles, CA, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. The unit includes ten labor and delivery rooms, eight antepartum and eighteen postpartum rooms, with two dedicated ORs. The provider will manage unassigned OB patients, assist with planned and emergency cesareans, and collaborate with a team that values quality care and patient safety.
