Overview Ace Hardware Urgent Hiring: Immediate Opening for a Highly Skilled Full Time Cashier Join a growing Ace Hardware cooperative team with multiple stores in North Texas and Oklahoma. This Full Time Cashier position offers a friendly, customer-focused environment with a flexible schedule and benefits. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, outgoing shopping experience. Project a positive image of Ace Hardware and assist customers with product knowledge and store layout. Answer calls and pages promptly and courteously. Communicate effectively with management about any issues or customer needs. Help with pricing, stocking, marking, and bagging merchandise. Handle sales and returns accurately following all register procedures. Balance the cash register drawer at the end of shifts. Implement store promotions and participate in team meetings. Maintain a neat and clean checkout area and entrance. Stock and face impulse counters and seasonal merchandise. Ensure ads, forms, and supplies are well stocked. Assist with front-end decorating and cart pickups. Notify management when merchandise returns need attention. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Preferred experience in cashiering or customer service. Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 40 lbs, and climb ladders during shifts.
