If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!What You'll DoBecome part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:Maintain and improve our cloud infrastructure platform using modern IaC (Infrastructure as Code) practices under the guidance of senior engineers.Support the development and operation of CI/CD pipelines to enable agile and secure software deployments.Building and operating infrastructure utilizing container orchestration such as EKS/K8S.Write automation scripts and tooling to reduce toil and improve the reliability of our systems.Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting to proactively identify and address potential issues.Implement and maintain logging solutions to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and analysis.Collaborate with software development and systems integration teams to build end-to-end solutions.Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-incident reviews as you grow into the role.Work with security teams to ensure the platform meets industry standards and compliance requirements.Contribute to the Developer experience at Scout by helping build and improve the internal developer portal.What You'll BringWe expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. Here's what else you'll bring:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.4+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps engineer, system administrator, or software engineer.Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Shell, Go, or Ruby.Hands-on exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Harness.io, ArgoCD).Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Exposure to infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Crossplane, Pulumi, or CDK).Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) is a plus.Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. When a problem occurs, you run towards it not away.Effective communication and collaboration skills. You treat colleagues with respect.
