Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to better understand clients' mental health challenges, ensuring the formulation of individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

  • Provide individual therapy using evidence-based techniques that promote personal growth, emotional well-being, and resilience in clients, guiding them through challenges such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

  • Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals, regularly tracking their progress and adjusting interventions as necessary to maximize effectiveness and client satisfaction.

  • Facilitate teletherapy sessions for clients who may face barriers to in-person access, employing technology to ensure a smooth and supportive therapeutic process.

  • Maintain accurate and ethical documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to uphold the highest standards of care.

  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of innovative trends and best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

  • Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

  • Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and struggles.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working in a remote setting or familiarity with teletherapy platforms is strongly preferred.

  • Experience in group therapy facilitation and an understanding of family dynamics as they pertain to therapy.
