Job Summary:
The position of MRI Technologist is located in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures across various patient populations, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This position requires a minimum of three years of experience, specializing in the use of Siemens Aera and Sola 1.5 Tesla MRI scanners, with proficiency in imaging neuro, body, and musculoskeletal regions. The evening/night shift operates from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with additional options for four 10-hour shifts between 9:00 PM and 7:30 AM.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 5x8 Nights, 23:00-07:30, Monday to Friday; also accepting 4x10s Monday to Thursday 21:00-07:30.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess an active MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification, valid MD or Compact License, and a CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification. The candidate should have at least three years of experience in MRI, with competency in neuro, body, and musculoskeletal imaging, and experience with vented and monitored patients, ideally within a Level 1 Trauma setting. Experience with Siemens MRI systems, specifically the Aera and Sola models, is required. Additional certifications include BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult acute care, cranial, cervical, brain, and vascular MRI procedures. Knowledge of image post-processing, MRA, MRV, and the use of surface coils is desirable.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the specialty, lower acuity cases, and at sister locations as needed.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing diagnostic MRI imaging for a diverse patient base and adhering to MRI safety protocols, including safety zones. Candidates must be comfortable working the specified night shift and be willing to float within scope without restrictions or special requests. Travel experience is not required for this position.
