Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner

Facility in Colorado Springs, CO seeking Ortho APP locums coverage Rates: $160/hr Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (No weekends or call).
• Setting: Inpatient, Trauma Level I (300-bed facility).
• EMR: Epic (Virtual training and modules required).

Clinical Responsibilities The provider will support the Orthopedic Surgeon on call by performing the following duties for adult and geriatric patient populations:

• Inpatient rounding and daily management.
• Consults and H&Ps.
• Surgical First Assisting: As needed (experience/certification is highly preferred).
• General surgical team support.

Provider Requirements

• Certification: Active AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA certification (Required).
• Licensure: Active Colorado (CO) state license (Required).
• DEA: Active DEA registration (Required); must be willing to transfer to CO.
• Experience: Clean malpractice and background history. First Assist experience is highly preferred.
• NPDB: A Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days must be provided at the time of presentation (Required).
• Travel: This site will NOT accept local providers. Candidates must disclose their departing city at the time of submission.
