Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an acute care Main MRI unit requiring 2+ years experience and ARMRIT certification.

Details

• Acute care Main MRI unit setting
• 12-hour day shifts, 38 hours per week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Experience with Philips 1.5T and 3T, and Siemens 1.5T MRI scanners required
• Participates in weekly on-call rotation (Monday to Monday) approximately once per month
• Call hours are 11pm-7am weekdays and 7am-7am on weekends
• May require coverage of call-in shifts during scheduled weekend hours
• Call back occurs approximately 2-4 times per month
• Includes holiday coverage

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ARMRIT certification required (AMRIT also accepted)
• License required if applicable
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

Additional Information

• Perform MRI imaging procedures using Philips and Siemens scanners in an acute care hospital setting
• Candidates previously employed directly (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible
• Candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
