Director Of FinanceWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to join Cornell Scott Hill Health Center. This role is responsible for supporting the overall fiscal management and financial operations of the organization. The Director of Finance will assist in overseeing accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting functions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. This position is ideal for a collaborative financial leader with strong analytical skills, healthcare finance expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence in a mission-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupports the CFO in overseeing financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting activitiesCoordinates the preparation of financial statements, special analyses, and reports to support organizational decision-makingAssists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of financial programs, systems, and internal controlsEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local financial and reporting requirementsOversees and manages Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management functionsSupports budget development and monitoring processes, including revenue and expense trackingCollaborates with Human Resources on staff allocation and position control processesCoordinates updates and enhancements to automated financial and management information systemsProvides financial analysis and consultative support to leadership for planning and strategic initiativesParticipates in the evaluation of contracting and revenue development opportunities aligned with organizational goalsSupports the development and implementation of departmental goals, policies, and operational proceduresEnsures program managers and department leaders receive accurate financial reports and guidance as neededSupervises, mentors, and evaluates assigned staff, providing ongoing feedback and performance managementFacilitates and participates in cross-functional meetings and financial planning discussionsPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field required; Master's Degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, or related healthcare field) strongly preferredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly desirableMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role; healthcare experience preferredStrong knowledge of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlDemonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and healthcare financial regulationsExperience with financial reporting systems and automated accounting platformsProven ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports, projections, and recommendationsExperience working in large, complex healthcare organizations such as ambulatory care centers, health centers, or hospitalsKnowledge of contracting, reimbursement methodologies (including cost-based, capitation, and risk-based models), and financial planningStrong organizational, leadership, and project management skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and lead teams effectivelyWhy Join UsCornell Scott Hill Health Center offers a competitive and mission-driven environment with outstanding benefits, including:Above-market, competitive salariesSign-on bonus available for eligible positions and qualified candidatesMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short/Long-Term DisabilityLicense reimbursementEligibility for HRSA Loan Repayment Program may be available for qualified candidatesPublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility is available through qualifying employmentGenerous paid time off401(k) with up to 5% matchCS-HHC is an equal opportunity employer.
