Echo Cardiographer Tech 

Responsible for assisting physicians with the performance of cardiology related procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including left heart cath/right heart cath/PCI/IABP insertion/Pericardiocentesis/Swan-Ganz insertion/stress testing/nuclear stress testing/implantable LOOP recorder.

Will function in multiple areas with the cardiology area such as Cath Lab/Stress Lab/Nuclear Stress Lab.

Will function in a variety of roles such as radiology technologist/documenter/Stress Lab assistant/Nuclear Stress Lab assistant.

Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupationally specific education or an Associate’s degree in radiologic technology or a closely related field.

Previous experience within Cath Lab and skill with Pacemakers, peripheral preferred. Impella and IABP exp is also preferred. 

A minimum of two years previous experience. ARRT(R) registration required and active Maryland licensed Radiologic Technologist or must have RCIS in lieu of MD license and ARRT BLS and ACLS required
