Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a position in Centralia, Washington. The role involves providing critical emergency care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on managing diverse patient diagnoses and utilizing advanced clinical skills. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Minimum Hours Per Week: 48 hours
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Department setting, with experience seeing at least 100 patients per day and familiar with 4:1 patient ratios. EMR experience with Epic is preferred.
• Additional Information: Pending license acceptance is not required. Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract.
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift, Nights
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, nights, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Experience: At least 2 years in emergency department settings with high patient volume and patient ratios.
• Clinical Skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patients, Central Line Care/Management, Continuous IV Sedation, Handling Gunshot Wounds, Head Injuries, PPE and Isolation Precautions, IV Vasopressors, Near Drowning Cases, Orthopedic Trauma, Phlebotomy, Procedural Sedation, IV Starting and Maintenance, Triage.
• Department Experience: Preferred experience in Emergency Department with combined adult and pediatric care.
• References Required: Two references covering the past 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) during the compliance process and prior to start.
• Additional notes: All RTO must be included in submittal; modules are non-billable, averaging 16 hours, with over 20 hours requiring project manager approval. Modules are completed pre-start and annually, with self-reported hours recorded in Workramp transcripts.
