FOOD SERVICE TECHNICIAN I

Job Description and Duties Food Service Technician I is responsible for serving and assisting with the preparation of foods and beverages; cleaning and maintaining food service equipment, utensils, and work areas. Duties involve both kitchen (food preparation) and dining room (food presentation) environments. The role maintains a safe, sanitary and therapeutic environment for clients. Tasks include standing, walking, bending, stooping for extended periods, exposure to loud noises, moving food items and equipment, and occasionally lifting up to fifty pounds. May work weekends and holidays. Requirements Medical clearance is required prior to hiring.
