Marketing Coordinator Full-time Marketing Coordinator (hourly, non-exempt) plays a key role in advancing NBWM’s efforts to promote exhibitions, programs and events, industry leadership, and the museum overall. Responsibilities include managing information flow from staff and departments to external marketing vendors, supporting updates to social media platforms, website, and e-communications, and collaborating with colleagues to develop, maintain, and execute a content calendar for audience growth, visitor loyalty, membership increases, and reputation enhancement. The coordinator also handles graphic design elements such as invitations, passes, business cards, and flyers, and supervises contracted design vendors. The position reports to the Chief Engagement Officer. Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000 Collections & Museum Learning Assistant Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Chief Curator. The Collections & Museum Learning Assistant plays a critical administrative role supporting the Curatorial, Collections, and Museum Learning areas. Key duties include maintaining an essential administrative load, acting as department liaison, monitoring galleries daily, maintaining interactive and in-gallery engagement areas, and performing other general duties as assigned. Salary range: $38,000 - $39,500 ($18.27 - $19.00 per hour) Visitor Experience Associate Part‑time, non‑exempt. Minimum 24 hours per week with potential up to 32 hours. Requires availability on at least one consistent weekend day, occasional evenings, and some holidays. Responsibilities: greet and orient visitors, generate revenue through admission, theater, and store sales, provide information about the museum and local area, and assist with initiatives to better understand visitors. The role requires a confident and outgoing disposition, attention to detail, prompt and reliable attendance, and enthusiasm for public interaction. Salary range: $16.00 per hour Volunteer Program Coordinator Part‑time, non‑exempt. Pay range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour. Supports the volunteer program including communication, recruitment, interviewing, onboarding logistics, monthly meetings, weekly scheduling, and relationship building. The volunteer corps has approximately 125 individuals. Reporting to the Associate Director of Museum Learning, this role works closely with volunteers, students, and staff across departments to deliver outstanding customer service and a solution‑oriented mindset. Events Sales & Operations Lead (Part‑time) Reports to the Director of Public Programs & Private Events. Key operational and client‑facing role responsible for coordination and execution of private rentals and institutional events. Primary duties: act as point of contact for event clients, coordinate internal teams and vendors, manage day‑to‑day event logistics, problem‑solve, and front‑of‑house coordination. Requires sound judgment, initiative, independent leadership, and flexibility for evening and weekend hours. Art Handler / Object Preparator / Installation Technician Contract work on a temporary project basis. Hourly rate: $15 - $50 per hour, based on experience. Works on short‑term projects throughout the year. Responsibilities: prepare, pack, transport, install, de‑install, and store artworks. Ensure safety and security of works and team. Tasks include moving and installing valuable art objects, packing/unpacking, maintaining storage areas, creating custom crate interiors, framing/unframing two‑dimensional works, and miscellaneous art handling duties.
