The role of a Fulfillment Expert can provide you with the: \n \n \n \n \n Experience in a dynamic work environment where your daily work will change based on guest ordering patterns \n \n \n \n \n \n Skills to assess your daily business and utilize tools to determine how to meet digital demand \n \n \n \n \n \n Knowledge of reporting systems that show how digital guest traffic patterns are changing throughout the day and be adaptable to guest demand \n \n \n \n \n \n Experience in retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement \n \n \n \n \n \n \n As a Fulfillment Expert, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: \n \n \n \n \n Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience. \n \n \n \n \n \n Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks. \n \n \n \n \n \n When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs. \n \n \n \n \n \n Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target. \n \n \n \n \n \n Select items for order pickup, drive up and ship to home for digital guest orders. \n \n \n \n \n \n Accurately put on hold all order pickup and drive-up orders. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Properly prepare, pack and sort guest orders for shipment using correct materials. \n \n \n \n \n \n Deliver quality and accuracy with each order while meeting timeliness goals. \n \n \n \n \n \n Maintain your workspace and supplies; keep equipment and designated areas organized and supplies in stock. \n \n \n \n \n \n Properly use equipment while following safety best practices. \n \n \n \n \n \n Follow all safety guidelines, operating procedures, product freshness and quality standards; follow food safety guidelines when handling, displaying and/or storing food items. \n \n \n \n \n \n Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. \n \n \n \n \n \n Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. \n \n \n \n \n \n Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws. \n \n \n \n \n \n All other duties based on business needs \n \n \n \n \n \n \n WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR \n \n \n \n \n \n This may be the right job for you if: \n \n \n \n \n You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with. \n \n \n \n \n \n You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success. \n \n \n \n \n \n You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times). \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a Fulfillment Expert.
