CH Thompson is seeking a motivated HR Recruiter to join our team! As an HR Recruiter , you will be a vital part of our team, working directly with our Human Resource Manager to ensure smooth and efficient Human Resource processes. The HR Recruiter will handle various tasks related to recruitment, employee onboarding, policy adherence, and employee engagement through a hands-on approach. Additionally, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work directly with our Leadership Team, with a clear path for career advancement and professional growth.

Position Overview

Recruitment and Onboarding:

• Design, implement and maintain the total recruitment and onboarding lifecycle.
• Develop and update job descriptions and specifications.
• Source candidates using a variety of databases including HRIS Systems, Job Boards, social media and other channels.
• Conduct interviews, both virtual and in person, and assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitude.
• Generate official offer letters.

Employee Engagement:

• Assist the Human Resource Manager with employee engagement plans and activities.

Performance Evaluations:

• Evaluate employee performance reviews for appropriateness and make recommendations as required.

Other HR Duties:

• Maintain physical and digital files for employees, including their documents, benefits, and attendance records.
• Keep accurate records of employee attendance and leaves.
• Maintain organizational charts and employee rosters.
• Process employee queries promptly.
• Assist in executing personnel procedures and policies.
• Assist with administering benefits, including open enrollment.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Proven experience in a HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of HR laws, policies, best practices preferred.
• Skills:
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and/or ideas professionally across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to create and maintain positive and professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to problem-solve issues to their root cause and work to implement corrective action.
  • Excellent organization skills.
• Education:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.

Total Compensation Package

• Wage
  • $21.00-$25.00 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience .
