Summary: The Operating Room RN responsibilities include: RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For consideration for this position, at least 1-year Operating Room experience as an RN is required. Specific Skills: Clinical skills appropriate to position Interpersonal skills Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty Education: Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma Preferred Bachelor's Nursing Facility: BayCare Health System, Surgery-MPH Location: Morton Plant Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 2:30PM - 11:00PM Shift: Shift 2 Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: Yes How often will this team member be working remotely?
