Travel Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

7 AM - 7 PM, Rotating weekends

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. This position requires proficiency in labor and delivery procedures, recovery, and immediate newborn care. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in performing PACU c-sections and maintaining patient care during critical times.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
• Assist in the recovery of patients post-cesarean section.
• Ensure immediate newborn care during the golden hour post-delivery.
• Document all patient interactions using the Meditech and CPN systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (Temp License will not be accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery and Recovery.
• BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications.
• Experience circulating c-sections preferred.
