Location: Dothan, Alabama (Southeast AL, near Florida and Georgia borders)
Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Specialty: Emergency Medicine (ER Doctor, Emergency Physician- must be EM trained )
Join a dynamic hospital in Dothan, AL, seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a direct hire position. This ER doctor role offers immediate starts for experienced emergency physicians ready to thrive in a high-volume emergency department.
Key Responsibilities for Emergency Medicine Physician:
- Provide urgent care in a busy ED handling 50,000+ annual visits.
- Manage acute cases including trauma, cardiac emergencies, strokes, and pediatric emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care.
- Oversee ER operations during assigned shifts (12-hour options available).
Qualifications for ER Doctor Direct Hire:
- BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM).
- Active Alabama medical license (or eligible); DEA certification.
- 2+ years ER experience preferred; new grads considered for southeast AL opportunities.
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS certification required.
