Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise regimens
• Record evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and collaborative conferences to ensure cohesive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is highly preferred
