Responsibilities Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full‑service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years! This teaching hospital integrates clinical care with existing providers, The George Washington University Hospital, and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This clinical integration establishes a robust system of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. Much more is available at: We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technician (PRN) Our ideal candidate is a skilled and patient‑focused Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS) who fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by delivering high‑quality care in a specialized procedural environment. This individual performs a variety of patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity setting, demonstrating the ability to respond effectively to new and changing work assignments. They bring strong technical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety while supporting cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. Qualifications Requirements: Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related field required RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire ARRT or additional cardiovascular credentials preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or interventional cardiovascular setting required Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures (e.g., coronary angiography, PCI, device implantation preferred) Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and cath lab documentation systems EEO Statement All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
