Rooster Healthcare Staffing is looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a small, supportive rehabilitation team in Columbia, NJ.

This is a great opportunity for a PTA seeking a stable 1-year contract and a close-knit work environment where you can focus on helping patients improve their strength, mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

As a PTA, you will:

• Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments and rehabilitation services

• Help patients improve mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence

• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans

• Monitor patients’ progress and communicate updates with the therapy team

• Work alongside physical therapists and other clinical staff

• Provide education and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation

• Build positive and meaningful relationships with patients

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Promote patient safety and comfort during treatment

• Support patients throughout their recovery and rehabilitation journey

Qualifications & Skills

• Active New Jersey PTA License

• Passion for rehabilitation and patient-centered care

• Professional, reliable, and compassionate

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work effectively in a small, supportive rehabilitation environment

• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
