Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-4:30pm; Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Apply mechanical knowledge to complete both routine and complex assembly tasks.
• Use power and hand tools to build and repair electro-mechanical components.
• Follow moderate to complex drawings and work instructions for sub and high-level builds.
• Perform troubleshooting on electro-mechanical systems, collaborating with internal teams for root cause and corrective action.
• Perform soldering, crimping, wiring, and cable assembly according to standards.
• Validate product performance and quality using specialized test equipment.
• Support a continuous improvement in culture through Lean initiatives.
• Build 1st article assemblies to IPC standards and best practices.
• Achieve and maintain IPC certifications (J-STD-001 and 620)
• Assist in peer training and skill development for junior assemblers.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and manual work
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted and occasionally up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Regular use of hands and arms to manipulate tools and components.
• Visual acuity for close work, color recognition, and depth perception
• May work around electrical components, hazardous materials, and varying noise levels.
• Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled environment, with occasional exposure to warehouse settings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow detailed technical drawings and work instructions.
• Competence with hand tools and basic electronics assembly tools (e.g., torque wrenches, ESD systems)
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical rework skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet production and attendance expectations.
