With guidance from Chief Engineer Maintenance Team and Lodging Management, this individual will administer the following: work order mgmt. system, financial tracking including labor, Capex, payroll, vendor/contractor coordination, purchase order requisitions in Microsoft D365, inter-department coordination, and special projects and tasks as necessary. *Applicants must be 21 years of age.***Hourly:**The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.Base hourly pay range: $20.50 - $28.69 per hour**A Great Job and Benefits to Match:*** Free skiing + riding privileges to 16 iconic resorts including Palisades Tahoe, Mammoth Mountain, Steamboat, Solitude and more!* Healthcare options for both Seasonal & Year-Round employees* Generous discounts on outdoor gear, apparel, etc.* 401(k) plan with generous company match* Free lift tickets, plus 50% off lift tickets* 25%-50% discount at Food & Beverage locations at Palisades & Alpine* 30% discount at Palisades Tahoe operated retail stores, including The North Face, Patagonia, Oakley, and more!* Employee Assistance Program (EAP)**Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks** include the following; other duties may be assigned: * Responsible for overall direction, coordination and utilization of computerized work order mgmt. system for Lodging Maintenance.* Allocate available resources to enable successful task performance across multiple departments.* Responsible for financial tracking: payroll, purchase order requisitions, vendor invoicing, assist in annual budgeting process (CapEx & OpEx), soliciting vendor bids, and weekly/monthly reporting.* Liaisons with internal business departments to coordinate daily work orders and service requests between departmental staff, external contractors, and internal business partners. With direction from Chief Engineer and Department Heads, determines work priorities, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.* Develop, monitor, and reconcile department budget, P&L forecasts, capital project tracking, and invoice processing with accounting departments.* Assist with sustainability initiatives, including budgeting, and implementation* When necessary, source and purchase department supplies and assist in creating and reconciliation of purchase orders.* Coordinates meetings: intercompany, vendors, and local agencies for Department Heads* Assist with hiring of new staff when applicable in coordination with Human Resources and Payroll.* General administrative duties including: composing and responding to emails, answering phones, responding to voicemails, filing, and computer software* Engages with company and community stakeholders in a positive and productive manner.* Responds to customer and management complaints.* Coordinates internal appointments, training, and bookings, including scheduling of outside contractors.**Competencies and Job Requirements:** * Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures. I.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint. Computerized Maintenance Management Software Required.* Clerical, administrative, and secretarial skills including being able to communicate clearly, excellent time management, and multi-tasking.* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.* Strong sense of customer service* Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.* Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards* Punctual, able to report at scheduled start times* Flexibility in seasonal work schedules.* Ability to integrate into a high performing team**Education and Experience:** Required:* High School Diploma or GED* 12 months prior experience in customer/service office environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred:* 24-36 months prior experience* Bachelor degree* Experience in the ski resort and/or maintenance/construction industry* Experience with computerized office and fast paced business environments**Physical Requirements:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
