Store Manager - Automotive
Location: Indio, CA (Onsite)
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually
Relocation: No relocation assistance. Local candidates only.
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy tire and automotive service location. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong customer service, sales, and team management skills who can drive store performance while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring efficiency, safety, and profitability.
- Lead, coach, and develop store employees to achieve individual and team goals.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving concerns and building long-term customer relationships.
- Drive sales by promoting tires, automotive services, and related products.
- Monitor key performance metrics, sales goals, and operational expenses.
- Oversee inventory levels, ordering, receiving, and merchandising of products.
- Coordinate workflow between sales staff and service technicians to maximize productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Handle scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and performance management of employees.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
- 3+ years of retail or automotive management experience, preferably in a tire or automotive service environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving sales performance.
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with inventory management, scheduling, and daily store operations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze business performance and implement improvements.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
