Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry experience Stroke experience Experience with cardiac drips Description: This position is in a 16-bed Progressive Care Unit. Staffing ratios are 4 patients per nurse. The unit is equipped with Welch Allyn Vital Signs Machines, Hoyer lifts, Sarah Steady Lifts, telemetry systems, bladder scanners, and Dopplers. Documentation is completed using Meditech. Schedule requires three shifts per week, including three to four weekend shifts. Floating to other areas may occur based on competency. Cardiac drips and basic dysrhythmia management are required skills. Procedures performed on the unit are not specified. High employee engagement is encouraged on the unit.
