As a Security Officer Patrol in Yorktown Heights, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this unarmed role, you will use teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach while adapting to a fast-moving setting with professionalism and reliability.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.75 - $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or transport vehicles in accordance with location protocols.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and trailer yard activity for security-related concerns, report suspicious behavior and/or operational issues, and support orderly operations across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
