Our Center has delivered excellence in abortion and reproductive healthcare since 1972. In this fast-paced medical environment team members are committed to advocating and caring for women seeking legal, safe, compassionate abortion care, in addition to assistance for adoption services and prenatal care.Responsibilities include (Experience in one or more preferred):Pre-procedure vitals, basic lab workOR assistance in set up, during procedures and in transporting patientsRecovery Room assistance including vitalsResponding to patient needs by offering fact-based education, supportive counseling and community resourcesServing as an advocate to patients, their partners and families, providing referrals when necessaryRunning basic lab tests for iron level and Rh – no special experience needed – only requires High School DiplomaOur team welcomes committed, experienced Medical Assistants with a strong work ethic, excellent patient care skills, sense of humor and a desire to be a part of a team.
