Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Specialist in en_US — This role involves supporting complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures in a Level II Trauma Center. The position offers a 4x10 days schedule with at least 10 call shifts per month, providing critical surgical assistance and ensuring patient safety during high-acuity procedures.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA; WA state license or valid compact license required.
- Education & Experience: 0 years minimum experience; 1 year of OR experience preferred.
- Location: Candidate must be able to work within a 50-mile radius; local rule not accepted.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include providing singular scrub support for cardiothoracic cases, floating to general OR as needed, and assisting with learning new procedures.
- Must agree to a schedule including at least 10 call shifts per month, with start date ASAP and end date February 15, 2027.
- Prior experience with CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, minimally invasive valve, VATS, mediastinoscopy, RATS, CVL support with carotid cutdowns, and laser lead standby preferred.
- Must be willing to work holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
