Sabrosura Foods is also one of the largest private label producers of Hispanic cheese in the U.S.Job SummaryThis position is responsible for monitoring inventory, shipping and storage areas in the Monticello facility. Maintaining an organized, stocked, and efficient inventory system for packaging material, maintenance tools and equipment and general inventory of facility PPE. Loading trucks, unloading, organizing dry storage, chemical storage and cooler environments.Job ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with Drivers on supplies incoming and outgoingReceiving in shipments from third party suppliers such as chemicals and packaging materialsAssist during monthly Inventory Counts with SupervisorMaintain accurate records, documentation, and control processesStock supplies in PPE, packaging and production supply locationsOperate and licensed in forklifts, pallet jacks and electric jacksMaintain a clean, organized environmentMaintain Master Sanitation Schedules and documentAssist with production needs such as pallets taggingCommunicate safety and/or quality concerns to management and appropriate staffFollow proper GMP, Safety and PPE protocols and proceduresFollow SOP/ SSOp's for designated areasRequired Skills/AbilitiesStrong communication and listening skills for work-related activitiesInventory management software proficiencyStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProblem-solving and decision-making skills.Follows instructions and takes initiative to complete tasks along with a continuous improvement mindset.Works as a team with positive attitude and behaviorsVerbal and written communication skills; including ability to read, understand and follow written procedures (SOPs/SSOPs)Flexibility in job roles, assisting team mates along with covering breaks when needed to meet business needsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required.Physical RequirementsAble to push, pull and lift at minimum 50lbs.On your feet for minimum 11hrsWorking in temperature fluctuations; hot to cold environmentsFast-paced and organized environmentMust be able to reach over your headMonday - Friday 3PM-11:30PM
