Forklift Operator

We are looking for an experienced sit‑down forklift operator to support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role involves moving materials, loading trucks, keeping accurate inventory, and following all safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a sit‑down counterbalance forklift safely
• Move materials to production lines, storage areas, and shipping docks
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks
• Verify loads using work orders, bills of lading, and labels
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
• Complete pre‑shift forklift inspections and report issues
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards
• Work with production and warehouse teams to meet daily goals

Required Skills

• Sit‑down forklift experience
• Ability to read work orders and shipping documents
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to stand, walk, and operate equipment for long periods
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
