Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Corrections | 1st Shift (5a–3p) | Wed–Sat | Toledo, OH

Payrate: $45-$50 an hr
Location: Toledo, OH 43608

Hours are: 2pm-12am ---2nd Shift 10 hr Shift Wednesday-Sat
Days off Sun, Mon, Tue

Position Summary

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in a corrections medical center in Toledo, OH . This is a male facility (single building, 2 floors )—candidates must be comfortable with a secure environment and frequent stair climbing .

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care: patient assessments, care planning, health education, and documentation
• Administer medications (including narcotics ) and monitor patient response
• Perform specialized nursing procedures as needed (may include IV therapy, wound care, oxygen therapy, dialysis support, blood transfusions, CPR, tube feeding, catheterization, suctioning, phlebotomy)
• Respond to emergencies and participate in/organize code blue response
• Coordinate with physicians and other clinical staff; may lead assigned shift in absence of higher-level nurse
• Maintain accurate records and required reports (incident/accident reports, medication logs, etc.)
• Maintain controlled substance inventory and assist with ordering supplies/equipment
• Help coordinate outside clinic appointments and prescriptions

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license (required)
• Healthcare-professional level CPR certification (required)
• Ability to work in a corrections setting and comply with security procedures
• Comfortable with stairs/frequent stair climbing (2-floor building)
