Registered Nurse

Heartland Hospice is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse On Call to provide after-hours hospice care to patients with life-limiting illness in homes and facilities. The RN triages calls, makes urgent visits, manages symptoms, and coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include pain and symptom assessment, medication management, patient and family education, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and caregivers. This role supports patients’ comfort, dignity, and end-of-life goals while working independently, using strong critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills.
