WRS is partnering with an established industrial contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex heavy industrial electrical projects.

This is a permanent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong industrial electrical background who is comfortable taking ownership of projects from planning through closeout. The position combines project financial management, field execution, client interaction, and team leadership.

Candidates must be comfortable with frequent overnight travel, approximately 60%+ based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

-Manage heavy industrial electrical projects from planning and preconstruction through completion and closeout
-Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and execution plans
-Lead project teams and coordinate closely with field supervision
-Manage client, vendor, subcontractor, and stakeholder relationships
-Monitor project costs, schedules, productivity, and overall performance
-Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions
-Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and project resources
-Ensure electrical work meets project specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards
-Manage project documentation, reporting, change orders, and closeout activities
-Provide regular project and financial updates to leadership

Qualifications

-5+ years of Project Management experience
-5+ years of experience within heavy industrial electrical construction
-Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and construction practices
-Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, field teams, and client relationships
-Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
-Experience with construction scheduling and project management software
-Ability to operate effectively in demanding industrial environments
-Willingness and ability to travel overnight 60%+ of the time
