Cafeteria Manager

This is a nine month position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Must be able to use basic math and banking functions.
Must have a minimum of one year formal training in food services or three years successful school food service experience as a cafeteria technician; on-the-job training as a cafeteria manager preferred.
Must possess computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of basic office procedures.
Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to be exposed to and work in drastic temperature changes.
Must be able to work and come in contact with water, detergents, cleaning agents and sanitizer.
Must be able to stand for 7 hours or more daily.
Must pass background check and functional assessment test prior to employment as required by Vermilion Parish School Board policies and procedures.
Experience with food service software preferred.
