Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Step-Down setting on a Med/Surg unit
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care between ICU and general medical/surgical floors
• May float between PCU and cardiac/heart unit based on facility need
• Be available for on-call assignments as required
• Adhere to facility dress code; navy scrubs required
• Complete all required learning modules prior to the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days — no disciplinary actions or hits on license
• Minimum 24 months of PCU experience required, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI required
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI required
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Valid driver's license required to verify residency
• Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Experience in cardiac or step-down units in addition to PCU
• Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments to support placement
