Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg)

Location: Geneva, NY 14456
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
Shift Time: Day/Night Rotation (Variable shifts scheduled as needed by client)
Compensation: $2,300 – $2,322/week (Estimated Gross)

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions or those recovering from surgery.
Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and document changes in condition accurately.
Coordinate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to manage patient admissions and discharge planning.
Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-hospital care.
On-Call Requirements: Must be available for every other weekend (EOW), holidays, and 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ASN or BSN).
Licensure: Current and active New York State (NYS) RN License is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a Med/Surg or Acute Care unit.
Certifications: Valid BLS certification (AHA or RQI only).
Commitment: Ability to work a variable Day/Night (D/N) rotation and complete the full 13-week contract.
