About the Role

The Chief People Officer will be a key partner to senior leaders, both within the department and across the government, and will play a pivotal role in modernizing HR services and driving the people agenda for the civil service. Applicants for the Chief People Officer position at the company must have a proven track record in senior HR leadership, with experience in large-scale transformation and change management. The role requires a deep understanding of cultural sensitivity and the ability to influence and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Operational excellence in data and insight-led HR functions is essential, as is the ability to shape and deliver a strategic vision for the future of the workforce. The ideal candidate will hold a Fellowship of CIPD or an equivalent HR qualification and be adept at modernizing HR services to meet the needs of a distributed workforce.
