It streamlines paperwork so you can focus on what matters most—your patients.About the RoleThe Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) will work under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists to provide quality patient care and support in the development and implementation of treatment plans to enhance patients' daily living skills.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport occupational therapists in executing treatment plans, including setting up equipment and aiding patients during therapy sessions.Participate in patient evaluations, record observations, and gather data to assist in the formulation of treatment plans.Carry out therapeutic activities as directed by the occupational therapist to improve patients' functional abilities.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment administered, and other relevant records as required by regulations.Instruct patients and their families in follow-up exercises and activities to be carried out at home or in other settings.Communicate effectively with therapists, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programValid OTA certification and state licensurePrior experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is preferredStrong communication, empathy, and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying patient needsBenefits & PerksWe offer a comprehensive and competitive compensation package designed to support both personal and professional well being.
