We're Hiring: Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Full-Time | Mapleton, Utah

$40–$45 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary

We're looking for a friendly, go-getter Dental Hygienist who is responsible, self-motivated, and truly personable — someone who takes pride in providing excellent care with a smile. You'll work alongside a supportive team of doctors, hygienists and staff to deliver outstanding preventive care and help our patients achieve lasting oral health. Experience with double hygiene assisting is a plus, as our team works efficiently together to keep patient care moving smoothly throughout the day.

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Perform dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
• Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with regulations
• Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
• Identify signs of oral disease and communicate findings to the doctors
• Comfortably support double hygiene assisting to keep the schedule flowing

Patient Education

• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Discuss treatment plans and reinforce the doctors' recommendations
• Provide clear, friendly post-treatment care instructions

Clinical Support & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and operatory cleanliness
• Collaborate with the team to ensure an efficient, positive patient experience

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Utah
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to administer local anesthesia

Preferred

• Previous experience in a dental or clinical setting
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft dental software a plus but not required
• Experience with double hygiene assisting and periodontal therapy
