Are you the go-to person when a rapier loom needs attention?
If diagnosing mechanical quirks, perfecting pattern changeovers, and delivering flawless fabric sounds like your kind of day, you’ll feel right at home with us. We manufacture high-performance geosynthetic textiles used in infrastructure, civil, and environmental projects—and we’re hiring in Franklin, KY.
Where and when- Location: Franklin, KY
- Work Location: In person
- Shift: Full-Time, 1st Shift
- Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
- Run Itema rapier weaving machines with a focus on consistency and safety.
- Handle pattern changeovers end-to-end and double-check setups before start-up.
- Spot defects quickly, pause equipment, and make necessary fixes.
- Confirm doff lengths and ensure the pattern is correct after each changeover.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and complete minor repairs independently.
- Assist with doffing and team up with maintenance when extra hands are needed.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.
- Keep your area neat and follow safety and quality guidelines to the letter.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience operating industrial weaving equipment strongly preferred.
- Experience as a weaver, fixer, warper, tie-in operator, or in textile manufacturing is a big plus.
- Mechanical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with measurements, basic math, and simple documentation.
- Ready for an 8-hour shift and able to lift up to 20 lbs routinely.
