Custodian Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented First Shift Custodian to join our team in Quakertown, PA. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized shop and facility environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate strong attendance, and prioritize safety in all duties.
Location: Quakertown, PA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, and equipment throughout the shop, including sweeping and mopping
- Maintain cleanliness in shop and machine areas to ensure a well-maintained workspace
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly while adhering to recycling practices
- Replenish supplies in lunchroom areas and perform basic coffee machine maintenance as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
- Assist with building wooden skids in the maintenance shop
- Support the maintenance department with various projects as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Safety-oriented mindset with the ability to follow established procedures
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift experience preferred (not required)
