Encompass Health invites you to become a Nurse Supervisor, providing essential care, guidance, and leadership during patients’ rehabilitation journeys. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff. Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or specific units. Monitor and manage staff, including on‑the‑spot feedback, annual evaluations, performance counseling, and discipline. Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships to support recovery. Celebrate patient victories. Qualifications Current RN licensure as required by state regulations. BLS certification; ACLS certification to be obtained within one year. CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field. Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years). Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity, responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and accountability for patient and staff results.
