Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: ER (Emergency Room) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department nursing License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Ability to start immediately - AHA certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS - TNS or TNCC - NIHSS Description: This position is an immediate need. The nurse must be able to start as soon as possible. The unit consists of 30 beds, with 27 medical beds and 3 psychiatric beds. The average patient volume is 120 patients per day, ranging from 100 to 140. Staffing is based on average daily census with various shift ranges. POD nursing is used for assignments. The facility is designated as a Level 2 Trauma Center. The facility is certified as a Level 2 Stroke Center. It is accredited for chest pain treatment. The facility provides comprehensive care for sexual assault survivors.
